Andhra Pradesh is a state where people give their first priority to the essential part of life that is education. APOSSĀ  is an abbreviation of Andhra Pradesh Open School Society where Intermediate examinations of AP. These courses are offered in distance mode of education. APOSS 12th class is a very important stage for every student as this stage decides the future of each and every student. Intermediate results decide collage of students. Result will show the hard work of students and will give them a path of their life. Andhra Pradesh open school society has started the SSC course in the year 2008-2009. The Inter 1st and 2nd year exam result has much more to show this year, many students have hopes from this result as their future is totally depended on 12th examination result 2016.

A.P Open School society was established on the 20th February 1991 as an autonomous society and which was registered under the Andhra Pradesh public society Act. To provide Pre-Elementary Education through Open and distance learning (ODL) mode and to provide continuous education for adults, is the main objective of APOSS.

The AP Open School concept is aimed at providing education to the under-privileged sections of students from the villages. With minimum age requirements Candidates can write the exams and get qualification. APOSS provides education to students who cannot reach school due to some reasons; such students can study in such open school and can complete their education. Andhra Pradesh open school is an advantage for village people as education is in their reach now.

The APOSS the Academic courses are added with the vocational course. Courses will be implemented by the Government or Recognized high school which is commonly known as Accredited Institution of the state. Moreover, APOSS Board provides the syllabus and study materials of National institute of open schooling i.e. NIOS learners of Intermediate. E Learning program which help student to learn in case they are absent in their last class. In India, It is the 1st open state school.

The APOSS board every year conducting the inter exams in two terms in the months of April and December. In the year 2015, the number appeared candidates in the 12th examination were 20312. The candidates who had clear the exams successfully were around 9359 making a passing percentage of 46.08%.

Each year there are many students who are enrolling for the distance learning program of APOSS Inter examination. In the year 2016, about 10,915 candidates are enrolled for the examination. The Result for APOSS Board Intermediate 2015 was declared on 11th June 2015. Therefore the April results are expected to be declared in the 2nd week of June 2016. The supplementary exams will be held in September & March 2016, The Candidates who are waiting for 12th class examination results 2016 can go through the official website i.e. apopenschool.org and check their exam result by entering the Roll Number or Student Name.
