In the CBSE board examination of year 2017 around 10, 28,928 students appeared in 3041 exam centres and from 8602 schools across the country. Around 6.6 percent of students across the country scored above 90 percent, Thiruvanthnanthpuram stood first with 92.26%. Chennai region with 91.63% get second position across the country, and Delhi region secured third position with 86.7%.
The aspiration towards the 12th exam result is high as the CBSE has effectively made the benchmark of scoring high.
