JEE also known as Joint Entrance Examination is an all India common entrance exam which is being conducted every year since year 2012, in place of IIT-JEE and AIEEE. JEE is mainly a two-phase exam 1. JEE (Main) and 2. JEE (Advanced) which are conducted for admission in various engineering courses.  From the two-phases of the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) Exam is for admission in Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institute and National institutes of Technology and JEE (Advanced) Exam is for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), and the Indian School of Mines (ISM).

Examination date for JEE (Advanced) 2016
JEE Main exam 2016 will be conducted in two manners- Offline and Online Modes. JEE-Main Offline for B.E. and B.Tech the exam is expected to conduct on April 4th, 2016 and JEE-Main Online Exam for B.E. and B.Tech the exam is expected to conduct on 10th & 11th April, 2016. The second Paper of JEE- Main for B.Arch. and B. Planning is supposed to be conducted on 04.04.2016.

JEE (Advanced) Result 2016 declaration
The JEE (Advanced) exam result 2016 will be declared on 18th June 2016. The results of JEE (Advanced) 2016 will be announced on the official website i.e. one can download his or her examination results of JEE Advanced 2016 from the official website.

Exam pattern for JEE (Advanced) 2016
JEE Advanced 2016 Exam Pattern will cover two question papers that will feature in the examination i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. JEE Advanced 2016 Question Papers will be available in two languages both English and Hindi. Each question paper will consist of three separate sections for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The JEE Advanced 2016 Question Papers will consist of objective type (multiple choice) and numerical answer type questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. Some sections carry negative marking in the JEE Advanced 2016 Question Papers. For getting success in the JEE (Advanced) results 2016 one needs to go through the syllabus and previous year question paper.

Counselling procedure for JEE Advanced 2016
The person wishes to appear in the Counselling procedure for JEE Advanced 2016 must get his name in the result of JEE (Advanced) 2016 those who have got their name in the merit list would be called for counselling. The information regarding the counselling will be made available on the official website. The respective dates for counselling can also be viewed on the official website. The students are required to bring their mark sheets and relative document at the time of counselling. Candidates have to log in to fill their choices as per preferences of branches, courses and institutes. They shall log in using the User ID (Registration No), JEE Advanced 2016 Roll No and Password. Candidates can fill in as many choices from the available list of seats in the order of preference. (Candidates are advised to fill in a minimum of 50 choices.)Candidates can change, edit, reorder their choices and add new ones till the final locking.
