Karnataka PUC Results 2018
KSEEB is an abbreviation used for The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board which is considered as a difficult board with the high scores as compared to other state board came in to existence in the year 1966 which has been conducting the Karnataka PUC examination every year and continuously declaring the Karnataka results successfully over the last 10 years and has been giving the remarkable performance every year. For every academic year nearly 9 Lakh students appears for the First (1st) and Second (2nd) PUC exams and also this year the the examinations will be in the month of march and the examination result 2018 will be declared at May or June. Karnataka Board would be publishing the Karnataka 1st & 2nd PUC results 2018 in the last week of May.
About 6.5 lakhs students are going to appear in the examination this year. Students who are going to give the exams this year would be able to check their examination results 2018 on the official results portal of the board on karresults.nic.in or kseeb.kar.nic.in
Karnataka 2nd PUC exam results 2018 is expected to be published before the 1st PUC exam results, and it will be really interesting to see if the trend would be changed as girls has been outshining boys in the overall passing percentage over the last few years.
In the year 2015, Around 8.49 lakh students appeared to their PUC exams of the 3,003 centres across the Karnataka, about 250 centres have been found as sensitive. The pass percentage of the second year pre-university examination held in March this year has rose high by 6.2 points when compared to the past year performance, as approximately 3,10,950 out of the total 6,31,075 candidates who appeared for the exams passed.
The pass percentage of 2009 was 43.07 as against the result of 2010 year’s 49.27. As usual, girls have performed better in comparison to boys, recording a pass percentage of 57.45% as compared to boys’ 42.42. Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts secured top three positions by registering pass percentage of about 89.43, 88.93 and 88.93 respectively. Raichur, Koppal, and Yadgir districts with a pass percentage of 43.29, 41.70 and 33.47 were in the last three positions. Around 2,734 students got 100 out of 100 marks in the following subjects: 539 students in physics, 513 in mathematics, 367 in statistics, 366 in accountancy, 336 in business studies, 229 in electronics, and 211 in computer science. Students of commerce branch registered highest pass percentage of 71.41% in comparison to science with 66.83 and arts branches with 53.24 percentage.
The pass percentage of those who studied in the Kannada medium (fresher) is recorded 54.48% and English medium with 69.34 as per the last year’s result, we expect our Karnataka PUC results 2018 to be more better than previous year’s results.
