Educational Qualification and Experience:
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of PHYSICIAN (PREVENTIVE ONCOLOGY) should have M.D.(Preventive & Social Medicine) or Equivalent post graduate degree in the specialty, recognised by Medical Council of India with 10 years’ experience after post graduation. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Preventive Oncology.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of PROFESSOR ,SURGICAL ONCOLOGY (BREAST SERVICES) should have M.Ch./ D.N.B. in Surgical Oncology with more than 5 years’ experience in Breast Oncology post M.Ch or D.N.B. or M.S./ D.N.B. (General Surgery) (or equivalent postgraduate degree) recognized by MCI with more than 8 years’ post M.S. experience in Surgical/ Breast Oncology. Exclusive experience in breast cancer surgery for 5 years’ is desirable. Candidates with Ph.D in Life Sciences/ Health Sciences after M.D./M.S. (Surgery) will also be considered. Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower grade. Candidates with Board Certificate in Breast Oncology or Surgical Oncology from EU or U.S.A. or U.K. will also be eligible to apply.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of PROFESSOR (BIOSTATISTICS) should have M.Sc. (Statistics) with Ph.D. in Biostatistics from a recognised university. They should have minimum 10 years’ experience in a large Cancer Hospital or Scientific Research Institution will be essential. The candidate will be responsible for interacting with clinicians and researchers for analyzing their data sets and developing new models. They should have demonstrable ability to develop new statistical models/techniques in analyzing medical data. Experience in clinical research and statistical assistance in data management will be mandatory. The candidate will also require to do teaching in biostatistics. Knowledge of computers especially in application of statistical software viz. SPSS, SAS, R etc. would be essential. Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower grade.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY (SOLID TUMor) should have D.M. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by Medical Council of India or M.D.(Medicine) from India with Board Certificate in Medical Oncology from U.S.A. or U.K. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Solid Tumor Oncology. Candidates who appeared for DM may also apply for the post.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY(ADULT HAEMATOLYMPHOID) should have D.M. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree or D.M. (Haematology) recognised by Medical Council of India or M.D. (Medicine) from India with Board Certificate in Haematolymphoid Oncology from U.S.A. or U.K. Preference will be given to candidates having Haemato-Oncology experience.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY should have M.Ch (Pediatric Surgery)/ D.N.B. in Pediatric Surgery/ Surgical Oncology or equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by MCI with 1 year experience post M.Ch/ D.N.B. in Pediatric Surgical Oncology/ Surgical Oncology.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SURGICAL ONCOLOGY (GASTROINTESTINAL) (G.I.) should have M.CH in Surgical Oncology or equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 1 year experience in Gastrointestinal (GI)/ Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Oncosurgery. or M.S./ DNB in Surgery with post degree 3 years’ experience in Hepato Pancreatic Biliary Surgery. Experience in Laparoscopic/ Robotic Gastrointestinal and HPB oncology will be preferred. Candidate should have a good academic track record and be inclined towards clinical research. Candidates will be considered for higher grade commensurate to their credentials.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SURGICAL ONCOLOGY (URO ONCOLOGY) should have M.Ch.(Urology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with minimum 1 year experience in URO Oncology in a recognized Institute after post graduation. One year experience in Urological Oncology is desirable.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, RADIO DIAGNOSIS should have M.Ch.(Urology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with minimum 1 year experience in URO Oncology in a recognized Institute after post graduation. One year experience in Urological Oncology is desirable.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSor, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY (PEDIATRIC) (HAEMATOLYMPHOID) should have M.D. or equivalent postgraduate degree in Radiology/ Radio-diagnosis recognized by MCI with 03 years’ post M.D. /D.N.B. experience. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after post graduation will be considered for lower grade.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, RADIATION ONCOLOGY should have D.M. (Pediatric Oncology)/ D.M. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI. or M.D. in Paediatrics or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with 3 years’ exclusive experience in Paediatric Oncology in a teaching institute.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ANAESTHESIOLOGY should have M.D. (Anesthesia) or (equivalent postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology) recognized by MCI with 3 years’ post M.D./ D.N.B. experience in Anesthesia in a Teaching Hospital. Experience in critical care and pain management is desirable. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PALLIATIVE CARE MEDICINE should have M.D. in Palliative Medicine or M.D. or M.S. in any Clinical Branch or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 3 years’ post M.D./M.S. experience in Palliative care in a large hospital or cancer centre. A Post Graduate Diploma or Certified Training in Palliative Medicine is desirable. In the absence of suitable candidates, doctors with one year post M.D./M.S. exclusive experience in palliative care will be considered for appointment in a lower Grade.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, NULCEAR MEDICINE should have M.D./ D.N.B. in Nuclear Medicine recognized by Medical Council of India with 3 years’ post M.D./ D.N.B. experience in PET and Fusion Imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT) in a recognized teaching hospital. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PATHOLOGY should have M.D./ D.N.B. (Pathology) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Pathology recognized by MCI with minimum 3 years post MD/ experience in Pathology. Experience in Onco-Pathology, Cytology, Haemato-Pathology, or Molecular Pathology is desirable. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SURGICAL ONCOLOGY should have M.Ch.(Surgical Oncology) or equivalent or M.S.(General Surgery/ ENT) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with 3 years’ post M.S. experience in Surgical Oncology.
• The applicants who wish to apply for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, BIOCHEMISTRY should have M.D. (Biochemistry) recognized by Medical Council of India with 03 years’ post M.D. experience in service, education and research in Clinical Biochemistry preferably in a teaching Institute. This position requires the operational skills for running a state of the art Modern Clinical Biochemistry facility and providing logistic support to the clinical and academic programs.
