WBCHSE 12th Results 2017
As we know, 12th board exams are the very important exam of our life as on the basis of the result, we choose the colleges where we need to establish ourselves. The students who are going to give the exam this year will be waiting eagerly for the HS examination results 2017. The students who belong to and lives in West Bengal are the one who studies there. The West Bengal Higher Secondary Examinations are organized annually all over the state of West Bengal and also it gives affiliation to the board located outside West Bengal. The WBCHSE generally declares the 12th examination result 2017 in the month of May.
The WB board is a Government body responsible for the administration of the education system in the 10+2 standard. The council has its main office at Kolkata, Bidhannagar, SaltLake and Korunamoyee along with 4 other regional offices. The council has framed certain objectives and the execution is carried in an organized structure. The WBCHSE was set up by the West Bengal government, under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Act 1975.
The State recorded a huge increase in the pass percentage by nearly 10 per cent in 2009 when the board had introduced an indirect grading system. After that, the results are moving around the 80-per cent mark. Nearly a million students appeared for the secondary examinations in 2009.
In 2015, the record says that around 7.5 lakh students got enrolled for the 12th exam. The passing percentage was recorded at 77.35% which was somewhat lower than 2015 exam results. In this year approx 433 students have scored 90%, after which the board was concerned about the result of their students. Only 15% of students amounting to a total of 1,11,000 students were there who have managed to score 60% in these exams. Comparing boys and girls result, we will find that the boys performed well with the passing percentage of 79.44%, whereas girls obtained 75.08%. In 2015, 5, 68,015 appeared in the exams, which was a reduction in the number of enrolled candidates in comparison to 2015’s stats. The pass percentage was recorded at 77.26%. This year in 2017, there are more than 10 lakh candidates who have enrolled for the exams. Due to reducing percentage trend, the board has taken necessary actions to help students in their study by providing them sample questionnaires and previous year papers.
